Here’s a quick-fix snack that can easily be put together, even by the kids themselves. A twist to the well-known traditional chips and crackers. It’s also a great gift idea.

Ingredients

Seasoning #1
  • 1 cup of coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of garam massala
  • Salt, as preferred
Seasoning #2
  • 1 cup of coconut flakes
  • 2 tablespoons d’huile végétale
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Seasoning #3
  • 1 cup of coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons of dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cracked pepper
  • ½ a lemon’s zest
  • Salt, as preferred

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and place the rack at the center of it.
  2. In three different bowls, coat all the coconut flakes with vegetable oil, then add the seasonings. Stir until all the flakes are well coated, then lay onto a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes and let cool completely.

Tips & tricks

Cannot be frozen. Keeps for 2 weeks in an air-tight container at room temperature.
