Energy-booster trail mix
This energizing homemade trail mix is packed with protein and healthy fats. Grocery store trail mixes are often high in added oil, sugar, and preservatives.
This recipe yields 4 snacks (1/2 cup each) that are much healthier than anything I’ve found in stores. I like to carry some in my purse so that I always have something good to snack on.

- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup white mulberries
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 3 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
- Combine all the ingredients.
