When I have the munchies in the afternoon or at night there are three things I like to eat: dates, chocolate, and nuts. I felt like gathering my three favourite snack ingredients together to create an INCREDIBLE-MAGICAL-PERFECT bite recipe.

It’s almost too easy to make, I know, but it’s oh-so-delicious! On a night with friends, these will be gone in a flash, so here’s a piece of advice: make a triple batch!

Ingredients

  • 8 Medjool dates
  • 8 almonds, whole
  • 6.5 oz dark chocolate

Steps

  1. Open the dates and replace the pit with an almond. Set aside.
  2. Melt the chocolate. Dip the stuffed dates and coat well.
  3. Place on parchment paper. Sprinkle with the topping of your choice and refrigerate.
  4. Remove from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before serving.
