Rainbow coloured fruit salad

Ingredients
Salad
- 1/2 cup of red grappes, sliced in half
- 1/2 cup of blueberries
- 2 kiwis, diced
- 1 cup of pineapples, diced
- 1 cup of oranges, diced
- 2 cups of fresh raspberries
Syrup
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
- 7 – 8 fresh basil leaves
- 1 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Steps
- Combine all the syrup ingredients in a small pot, then bring to a boil. Boil for a minute and then pour into a container. Let cool completely in the fridge.
- In a long cylinder container, add the fruits in the order listed in the ingredients section.
- One the syrup has cooled, remove the basil leafs and pour onto the fruit tower.
Tips & tricks
The syrup must be nice and cooled before it is poured on the fruits. You can choose your preferred fruits for a customized salad.
Cannot be frozen.
