Ingredients
- 4 lobsters ( 2 lb each)
- Sea salt
- Garlic butter, for serving
Steps
- Bring a large pot of extra salty water to a boil. It needs to taste like the sea, so we’re talking a lot of salt.
- Remove the elastics from the lobsters and put them headfirst and upside down into the pot.
- When the water starts boiling, cook them for 16 minutes per 2 pounds (or 12 minutes for the first pound + 1 minute per additional 1/4 pound).
- Fill a large pot with very cold, very salty water, and submerge the lobsters in it to keep them from cooking further.
