Chestnut & chocolate icing

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 (9 x 4) rectangle vanilla cake
- A few candied chestnuts
- A few yellow flowers
Icing
- 1 cup store-bought chestnut puree
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Steps
- Combine all icing ingredients in a food processor then blend until smooth. Set aside.
- Whisk the cream and sugar as well as the vanilla bean together. Add the whipped cream to a pastry bag with a flat sleeve and refrigerate.
- Cover each side of the cake with icing then top with whipped cream, candied chestnuts and yellow flowers.
