QUICK TANDOORI CHICKEN
I hesitated to share this tandoori chicken recipe because it’s kind of a dollar store version. In other words, it’s pretty basic, but it does the trick.
With five ingredients and a handful of change, you’ll be able to make a great dinner in less than 30 minutes. I like to serve this with basmati rice and a salad.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, cubed
- 2 tablespoons tandoori powder (see tip below)
- Juice and zest of 1 lime
- 1 cup Oikos plain Greek yogurt
- Dash of olive oil
- Rice, as a side
Steps
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and marinate for 2–12 hours in the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes and enjoy with the side of your choosing.
- You can also grill the chicken on the barbecue.
Tips & tricks
Tandoori is a spice mix that can be found ready-made in specialty stores, or some of the larger supermarkets. If you want to take a stab at homemade tandoori mix, follow this recipe that I found in a monthly magazine. Many thanks to them for sharing:
