These marinades are perfect to keep in an air-tight bag in the fridge. It’s also a super easy recipe to double, triple or even quadruple, and this way you’ll always have the basics to cook on hand.

These recipes are delicious with any type of meat or fish (even the BBQ one) or with tofu as well!

Ingredients

  • 2 portions of either chicken, pork, beef or fish
  • Quick-fix marinades
Yogurt & herbs green marinade
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 cup of green herbs (basil, mint, chives, dill, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • ½ a red onion, peeled
  • 1 peeled garlic clove
BBQ Marinade
  • 1 cup of grapefruit juice
    Replacement options

    of applesauce

  • 1/2 cup of Ketchup
  • 1/4 de cup of molasses
  • 1 peeled shallot
  • 1 peeled garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Tabasco
Lime & Cilantro Marinade
  • 1 cup of olive oil
  • 1 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Zest & juice of 2 limes
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Steps

  1. Blend all the ingredients for each recipe in the blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into your preferred bag option, then add the meat you’ve opted for. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, then freeze flat.
