Cream cheese, yogurt & raspberry cookie dip
Watch the videoI am drowning in wedding preparations right now and I feel like it shows in the recipes I’ve been making since the beginning of the summer. Although my recipes are made with as much love as always, everything is quick to make and often just involves tossing ingredients together and serving.
I’ve always been the girl who loves entertaining and spending hours in the kitchen, but these days I’ve become the potluck queen. When I have friends over, I ask everyone to bring a little something so people can mingle and sample all kinds of dishes. I mostly do it because it means having to prepare fewer things—time is of the essence these days. It’s not really my style, but you do what you gotta do!
It’s made me think a lot about parents and students who not only have daytime commitments but also have to work nights. I also feel for people with a limited budget, because goodness knows, weddings aren’t cheap.
In short, I’m sending out love to all of you (because everyone needs some, even people with lots of money and time!) and I hope that my quick recipes help get you in the kitchen, even if it’s tempting to order takeout at the end of a long day. I know whereof I speak.
So here’s a sweet dip idea, perfect for when you need to eat your feelings—something I haven’t been doing at all lately! (*Sarcasm.)
