While I’ve made these into hearts because Valentine’s day is right around the corner, any shape will do for this recipe.

There are many silicone mould options at the dollar store, and you can reuse them for many other things after this recipe.

  • 100 g of white chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of dried strawberries, chopped (see tips)
    Replacement options

    dried cranberries, goji berries

  • A pinch of salt

  1. Melt the white chocolate and the butter in a double boiler. Add the dried strawberries and salt then pour into the heart-shaped moulds.
  2. Refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes then remove from the moulds. Keep in the refrigerator

Tips & tricks

Dried strawberries can be hard to find in regular grocery stores, but bulk stores most often carry them. You can use any kind of dried fruits, but I like the gumminess the strawberries give. Dried apricots, cranberries or goji berries would also be lovely.
