Lady fingers & cream soup

The idea behind this was simple; I wanted to do as Alex’s grandma once did and merely put together basic ingredients and transformed them into the perfect weeknight dessert.
It brings me back to a time when my own grandma Huguette would fix me some strawberries with cream and sugar. Simple yet delicious.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of fruit jam
- 3 lady fingers, store-bought
- 1/4 cup of 35 % whipping cream
- Sugar, as preferred
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of berries (blueberries & raspberries)
- 1/4 cup of chocolate chips
Steps
- Spread the jam on the inside of a cup, then stick the lady fingers vertically up against the side.
- Whisk the cream in a bowl until peaks form. Add sugar as preferred, then set aside.
- Pour the milk in the cup with half the fruits and chocolate chips. Add the whip cream, then top with the remaining fruits and chocolate chips.
- Serve right away.
